Dr. Benisch has a strong commitment to quality dentistry, which is demonstrated by his membership in the American Dental Association, Essex County Dental Association and The American Academy of General Dentistry, where he received his Fellowship Award in 2009.

Dr. Benisch was born and raised in Millburn, New Jersey and after graduating from high school he attended Northwestern University where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree. After obtaining his DMD degree from The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey he extended his dental education with a General Practice Residency at JFK Medical Center.

He and his wife, Jennifer, reside in Millburn Township where they are kept very busy with three little girls and their many activities. When Dr. Benisch is not at the office or with his family, he can be found fishing along the various lakes of New Jersey.

Dr. Metz has logged more than 600 hours of continuing education to stay current with the latest techniques and technology.

Dr. Metz received his BS degree from The Ohio State University and his DMD degree from The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Upon graduation, he completed a General Practice Residency Program at UMDNJ after which he opened his own practice. He joined Dental Group of Millburn in 2007. He is an Attending at Mountainside Hospital Medical Center in Montclair, New Jersey where he works with Developmentally Disabled Adults, mentors General Practice Residents and where he was honored in 2008 and again in 2013 as “Attending of the Year” for his “outstanding Clinical instruction, dedication and innovative ideas.”

He enjoys singing, acting and directing with The Strollers, a local community theater in Maplewood. He is also a founding member of the singing group, The Loose Canons, which performs for local charitable organizations.

Dr. Metz has lived and worked in the Maplewood, South Orange and Millburn area for over 30 years. He and his wife Suzanne have three children and four grandchildren and reside in South Orange.


Dr. Pollak was a dentist in the U.S. Air Force where he rotated through all of the dental specialty clinics. He received his undergraduate degree from Upsala College and his D.D.S. from Seton Hall Dental School, now the New Jersey College of Dentistry. After his military obligation, he assumed his father’s dental practice, Dr. Alfred Pollak, in Newark eventually moving his practice to Maplewood and finally to Millburn. He is a lifetime member of the American Dental Association, a fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry and a member of many dental study clubs so as to keep up with the newest products and techniques in dentistry.

Dr. Pollak is a member of the Newark Athletic Hall of Fame, the Essex County League Hall of Fame and the JCC Hall of Fame in New Jersey. One notable accomplishment is that he has pitched and won 1,023 baseball games. He also manages several baseball teams, one of which is the defending New Jersey State Champion.

Dr. Pollak grew up in Newark and graduated from Weequahic High School. His wife, Joanne, works alongside him as his dental assistant. Dr. Pollak’s son Joseph is a dentist, another son Andrew is a psychologist, and his daughter Abby is a homemaker. As of June 2015, Dr. Pollak will be officially retired.
